os indendent is referring to solaris 2.5.1, 2.6, 7, 8, 9

the media pack contains 2 bootable cdrom discs

      webstart installation disc
      installation disk 1 of 2

the iso image for solaris 8 and 9 are freely downloadable from 
www.sun.com.

also, be sure that your systemboard supports the faster cpu.
