[SunHELP] sendmail basic setp help

Hi!

Im having problems configuring my sun box so that mi can send mail from it,
as echo test | mailx -s "sub" email at me.com


I have updatet my hostfile with

<ip>	mailhost

and i have chekked my resolv.conf

but every time i try to send a mail i get this message

shj at pinje.com... Deferred: Connection timed out with mail.pinje.com

mail.pinje.com is not used for mail anymore i have no entry for it in
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf

and no entrys for it in /etc


Can anybody give me a clue
