Run visudo and modify the entries as below.

# Host alias specification

Host_Alias NFS_HOST=<Host_name> <------------ This is the output
of `uname -n`

# User alias specification

User_Alias ADMIN_USER=<user ids separated by comma>

# Cmnd alias specification

Cmnd_Alias FORMAT=/usr/sbin/format ?*

# User privilege specification
root ALL=(ALL) ALL
ADMIN_USER NFS_HOST=FORMAT

NFS_HOST, ADMIN_USER, FORMAT are all for illustration. You can specify any
name (in capitals) as per your choice.

        Subject: [SunHELP] Configuring Sudo

Hi All

I am trying to configure Sudo in my Solaris 2.8 box using version 1.6.6 .
Could someone let me know how do I configure sudo for a particular user to
run the format command.
Any leads to the above is appreciated.

Thanks
Vinod.
