[SunHELP] sun blade 100s and high res screens

Hi

One of my users has purchased (at around 3000 EUR) a rather nice
2000FP flat panale from Dell. This supports 1600x1200 at 60 Hz
(vertical), using VESA sync. At least that's what it say on

 http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/monitors/2000fp/English/specs.htm

Problem is that this user has a Sun Blade 100 workstation, with
standard PGX64 graphics. AFAIK this only supports 1600x1200 at 75 Hz
(vertical), at least according to

 http://www.sun.com/desktop/products/graphics/pgx64/details.html

This has been verified by connecting the 2 together, using m64config
to set the res, and noting the "cant display this video mode" message
on the screen.

First of all is there an easy solution to this problem?

Second, apart from Expert 3D lite (which is priced at well over 1000
EUROs and anyway I tested and it was also not able to support the
required VESA mode - same as pgx64 in that respect), does the SB100
(and Solaris 8) support any "standard" PCI graphics options that might
help me?

Cheers
Kevin
