[SunHELP] Weird APACHE Problem

Hey,

I've been experiencing this problem for quite a while now and so I thought I'd
see if anyone can answer it. Everyone else I've asked says it's a bit weird.

I can create a directory anywhere... /usr/home/user/www/test and then go to
www.hostname.com/~user/test/ and it can list that directory normally. I can
put blah.html and a few .jpg's in there and hit reload and it can then list
those files in the web browser. However, if I move (in this case) a MPG movie
in that directory and hit reload in your browser, it says, "Page Cannot Be
Displayed". There are no errors in the apache logs, it acts as though it
opened the page fine.

Now, as a test, I remove the MPG file.. and do a "touch blah.mpg" ... It can
list that... I then did a "cat /bin/bash >> blah.mpg" just to make the file
bigger than 0K... It can list it at 500K... I do it again, it can list it at
1000K... but if I do it again to make the file 1.5 MB, it cannot the list the
directory.

So basically, what it looks like is... if there is a file in my directory
that's OVER 1.5 MB... It cannot list the Index of the directory in a web
browser... I have just discovered that it doesn't matter if it's an MPG, MP3,
or TXT file... any file in a directory over 1.5 MB prevents a user from
listing the Index of that ENTIRE directory... Not just that file.

This makes it impossible to list the Index of a directory of movies, mp3's,
applications, whatever... If you type in the FULL path to the file it can
download it.. But I cannot list the Index of that directory.

ANY IDEA'S AT ALL?! My web config file can be found at
http://www.minot.com/~jeff/httpd.txt

Please, give me your suggestions. Just for more information, I'm running
Solaris 8 with Apache 1.3.12 ... It was a PKG too.. :)
