[SunHELP] TERM setting

I seem to be unable to get a good TERM setting on my sparc 20. I use the
tcsh shell, sometimes ksh, and I only access it via serial connection or
ssh. Sometimes when I open a file I can only scroll down the first 12
lines or so. I have tried sun, vt100, cons25, AT386 and probably a few
others.
What should the TERM env variable be set to?
