[SunHELP] small LAN

I have 2 Sun Sol 8 at home (One is Intel PC and another is Sun Blade =
100).   My ISP is @HOME.  I want use these desktops to install Oracle =
Portal and Oracle Application.  At this time, I use simple /etc files =
for the network.  I like to get your advice whether I should choose DNS, =
LDAP, NIS or NIS+ if I want to configure this LAN for the above purpose. =
 It appears to me LDAP or DNS probably the most appropriate.  Also could =
you please tell me the steps to configure the choosen network setup.
