I forgot to add, you can check out "sniffit", which is for educational use
only. It's ported under FreeBSD, and it will give you live analysis of
packet data. Yes, you can even see insecure communication between two
hosts (telnet, ftp, etc.). You can also set filters to watch certain
hosts.
