[SunHELP] "/usr/xpg4/bin/id -G -n" results differently on solaris 6 and 8

hi all,

i have a strange problem. 
Running "/usr/xpg4/bin/id -G -n"  
command on 2 solaris boxes,
one runs 2.6 and one runs solaris 8, with the 
same user login.

Solaris 2.6 box displays ALL groups I belong to.
But solaris 8 only displays ONE primary group.

Anyone experienced this before.
