 Hi All,

I have a Sun Blade 100, which has problems in booting. Due to a
improper shutdown, the disk is not booting up now. It=20
attempts to boot and then gives the following error messages

 INIT: /etc/inittab turncated or corrupted
 INIT: Cannot create /var/adm/utmpx
	Failed write of utmpx entry
INIT: Single user mode, type Control - d or give root password to
proceed

The no keyboard entries are being accepted. The num lock , scroll lock
and caps lock keys are responding.
But when we give the root password or attempt to use control d for
normal startup, nothing works.

Also I tried to boot with a cd, but it does not through. I have a
normal solaris 8 boot cd and it does not work for=20
Blade 100. So is the media different for Sun Blade 100, if yes then
whats the part number for it, so that I can order=20
 the same from Sun.

Thanks in advance for the help

 regards,

 - Prakash
