Ok, here's a dumb question since I've never really been a Sun admin in a
location that was really interested in security.

Is it possible to run an NFS and NIS server or even NFS and NIS clients
without opening your self up to remote root exploits?

[Ok, stop laughing]

[Damn it, I can't stop laughing!]

Last I recall there were still sun RPC issues that left Solaris wide open.

Should I just recomend rsync over ssh and key management instead?
