Hi Chad

Not sure if this is true, but didn't Onstream file for Chapter 11 or
something? In which case it may be a short term financial gain, but long
term white elephant.

I do agree with your sentiments on used tape drives, you never know what you
are getting.

Peter

Subject: [SunHELP] Onstream tape drives

Howdy,
Anybody have any experience with these, either on a Sun or not? I have
outgrown my DAT drive and need more capacity but don't have a whole lot of
money, at ~$400 for a 30 gig drive and $35 for media this seems the cheapest
solution out there.
I know I could probably pick up a used drive cheaper, but I have always had
problems with used tape drives(got a stack of used/useless drives to prove
it).

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated....

Chad
