Hey Manish,

It is possible that the /dev/pts symbolic links to the /devices/pseudo
files are missing or corrupt.
Running /usr/sbin/devlinks or performing a reconfiguration boot,
using boot -r, will recreate the symbolic links.

I suggest you change your vfstab. Set logging in mount options to avoid
file system inconsistences in future. You also avoid time consuming file
system checks during the reboot.
