Covad doesn't. Verizon (Bell Atantic) does on the other hand. it seems to me
that the less clueful/cool people use PPoE and the rest know better. :)
(if you've never dealt with Verizon, they are about as lacking in clue as a
company possibly can be)

Covad pisses me off sometimes, but their service is outstanding. all my issues
with Covad are non-technical (still haven't gotten the refund for my bridge,
they made me pay the steep disconnect fee and installation fee to move my line
from my old house to my new house since i didn't have service at my old house
for at least a year, had it for something like 10-11 months, and i was moving
the line with me, but they still raped me on that deal. at least it works all
the time)
