[SunHELP] HOW I CAN FIX NAME OF MACHINE

Try this:
 
1. Edit /etc/hosts file an ensure correct IP address to hostname mapping.
2. Ensure that /etc/hostname.hme0 has the desired hostname.
3. Execute: uname -S hostname
4. Reboot.
 
This works every time for me, be sure that hostname.hme0 and the output of
uname match.

Hi,  thanks to answer me , 

if  i execute this all is ok until i reboot the machine, that appear the
previous name's machine, 
i already know that if  create a arranc file  and i put it into
/etc/rc2.d/S96myfile and put in this 
command all do ok, 


but  is there any other kind  to do it ?,
