[SunHELP] 32 or 64 bit?????

I discuss with ORACLE support engineer couple weeks ago about this
question.  Don't worry about your Solaris is 32 bit or 64 bits on Solaris
7 or 8.  The most important is your ORACLE version is 32 bits or 64 bits
(it is different version software on ORACLE).  use 


    %file oracle    (under $ORACLE_Home/bin)
the output will show you something like this:

    oracle:         ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version 1, dynamically
linked, not stripped


If it is 32 bits then install 32 bits patch.  If it is 64 bits, then
install 64 bits patch.  


ORACLE patch installation "readme file" give you misunderstand about "64
bit Solaris".
