Use "vxdiskadm" to remove the disk. "vxdiskadm" brings up a menu of items,
one
of them being remove disk. Also use is to add the disk to a different dg.

Subject: [SunHELP] Veritas Question

Does anyone know how to move disk from one dg to another dg, that disk has
been initialized already and currently is not used on that dg, so I want to
use it on the other dg.
Any help? I am really appreciated.

Will
