[SunHELP] file not found in path.

Hey guys,
    I'm doing a make on my box and its giving me this error:
detect.c:10: stdio.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [sparc.h] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/john-1.6/src'
make: *** [linux-sparc] Error 2

Cant get this message to go away.
