[SunHELP] no hostname

Well, I'm still a little cloudy on this one (showing
how little I really know about Solaris), but I ended
up calling Sun support. They said it was because I
was using DHCP. I guess they are getting ready to
release an update that will allow you to use a dhcp
client, but specify your own hostname. We don't have
a DNS server, and I am guessing there is an NT/2000
server somewhere giving out IPs, not sure. Anyway,
killed dhcp.hme0 and populated the hostname in the
correct files, init 6, and all is good. Now I just
have to go fix my routes, because the box doesn't see
anything but its self..... truly stand alone :-)
Later,
Peer
