[SunHELP] load balancing solutions?

Anybody recommend a free/opensource (or VERY cheap)
software load-balancing solution? I need to do something
similar to a Cisco LocalDirector or Foundry ServerIron, but
using a Netra T1 and Solaris 8.

So far, here's what I've found:

	"balance": TCP proxy w/load balancing/failover:
	http://balance.sourceforge.net

	"eddie" : same thing, more complicated setup:
	http://eddie.sourceforge.net

	"ipfilter" : latest release has some of these features:
	http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/

I've looked at the SLB, Zeus, and Polyserve products, but they
all want RIDICULOUS amounts of money (Zeus quoted me $10K!!!) for
what *something* has to be available for less money..

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
