Hi Muhammad,

The Quad card has 4 Ethernet ports.  You can set it up that each port has an
IP address.  If you want to install this card so that you can use all 4
ports for load sharing purposes, you need a package from Sun called Sun
Trunking.  You will need a switch that supports trunking.  Speak to your
Local Cisco rep for a switch like this.

You will be able to trunk all 4 ports in full duplex.

I have question regarding with NIC card type product from SUN. 
this is Quad fast ethernet. from the whitepapaer this has been mentioned the
cards has four ports on one single cards. what become question to me : 

1. Is all the port are assigned IP address each. ? 
2. Is it used for load balancing and redundancy purpose, under one Ip
address ?  

Please share with me, if any body has ever gone through with this device.
