[SunHELP] utime /dev/fd/1

i am using the pkg-get script to install stuff from the solaris freeware
site, and i'm getting the following error (during the part where it uses
'wget' to retrieve the files:

utime(/dev/fd/1): Operation not applicable

also, have i renamed any essential links here in the /etc/rc*.d
directories?  i want to be a bit more agressive than the fix solaris 8
docs at the sunhelp site... does anyone know of a site which lists the
bare essential init scripts for solaris 8?  i like the list at:

http://www.usenix.org/sage/sysadmins/solaris/solaris/checklist.html

but that covers earlier versions of solaris.

since i've had to redo this install about 8 times now, i'd really
appreciate it if someone has time to look through this and make sure i
haven't disabled anything critical.

i've also disabled everything in inetd.conf
