the coroners toolkit is said to work pretty well for solaris.... it
won't retrieve 100% of data.  the main thing is to avoid using the disk
at ALL until you figure out a strategy for recovering it.

also i've heard the coroners toolkit is somewhat difficult to use; i've
never messed with it myself.  wietse and dan wrote an article or two
specifically about file recovery.
