Subject: [SunHELP] rsh - Permission denied

Hi,
I 'm trying to give the command

# rsh <local_host> ls
from the root and it shows the message as permission denied.
I 've set the /.rhosts and /etc/hosts.equiv file with the
<local_host> name. But still it 's giving the same problem.

for ex
# rsh appsrv ls
Permission denied

If i 'm giving the command as

#rsh -l <login_name> <local_host>
or
# rsh <local_host>

then it 's asking for the password.

thanx and regds
