[SunHELP] setting gateway

hi,
   i have a m/c which has static ip address with netmask 255.255.255.248 =
(dnet0) which connects thru default router to internet. I have created =
virtual ethernet address 192.168.1.2 with netmask 255.255.255.0 =
(dnet0:1) to configure this m/c as proxy server for our LAN =
(192.168.1.0).
                           The problem is that i can connect to the =
internet using dnet0 but cannot ping any m/c on our LAN. Any =
suggestions? What am i missing??
