[SunHELP] moving OS disks (DiskSuite) from E250 to E450?

Hi

I saw someone asked a very similar questions just a while back, I am
wondering if I can use the same solution.

I have 2 x E450 systems that are "in service" with 2.6. I would like
to upgrade them to Sol 8. (Actually 'like' isn't the correct word,
but you know what I mean). I am using a spare E250 as the test bench
and have generated a new OS + apps + whatever installation, based on 2
internal disks (c0t0 and c0t8) as 2 sides of a mirrored
/,swap,/opt,.... I am pretty happy with the setup, I would be
reasonably confident I could just change the hostname and replace the
running 450 and all would work fine.

However my customer wants to use the 450s, as it has the 4 CPUs and
loads of memory. I thought fine, just swap the disks over and it
would work first time. But then I though not fine, I don't think
there is a slot that corresponds to c0t8 on the 450, just c0t[0123] ??
are wired in ours, and I dont know if DiskSuite is smart enough to
figure it all out. Am I worrying necessarily?

i.e. An I in a plug'n'play situation, or a plug'in'pray :-)

Cheers
Kevin
