[SunHELP] Seeding for apple network

I believe the CAP (Columbia Appletalk Protocol) might give you the seeding
functions you need. I understand it's a dog to build but it's ok once you
get it going. Check out

for details.

Cheers

Joe

Thanks James,

>You only need to seed if you are going to have zones.
We seem to need a zone for some old Mac software component,
which is I think originally from M$. To be exact the
"laser writer bridge" software to have the ethernet network
and the laser printer accessible at the same time.

I don't.

This is what we had for some time, but is not a desired option.

Well, I might finally turn one of the suns into a linuxbox,
if nothing comes up for Solaris.

>(my large scale Mac networking days preceeded my Linux days).
My large scale Mac networking days I have planned for an other
live ... not to soon ...

Thanks again,
Wolfgang
