<P>These are the tools u can use</P>
<P>1) To check the patch level of the system -> Patchdiag tool ..  -->available at sunsolve.sun.com  or in sunsolve cd's</P>
<P>2) To setup a SNMP based health monitor -> Symon  --> Comes with OS cd's(but hogs some system resources)</P>
<P>3) H/w health checkup -> SUNvts -> comes with OS cd's (can be run online)</P>
<P>4) To gather system data for future reference --> Explorer --> Available at sunsolve.sun.com</P>
<P>Hope it gives some idea..  but using any of them for first time is always a struggle.. all the best...</P>

<DIV></DIV>>Hi,
<DIV></DIV>>Looking for suggestions,
<DIV></DIV>>I just got tasked with supporting 10 sun servers. I know pretty much
<DIV></DIV>>nothing
<DIV></DIV>>about these servers in particular. I am wondering what are some good
<DIV></DIV>>ways to check general system health?
<DIV></DIV>>Thanks for any suggestions.
