[SunHELP] accesing my first msdos primary on second drive

Hrmm, hda1, hda2...
That sounds like linux.

In Linuxium, hda1 means ide Hard Disk A, 1st partition.
In Linuxium, if you used scsi disks, it would be sda1, or Scsi Disk A, 1st
partition.

In Solarium (excuse me Armstrong Industries), only scsi storage exists (I
think). In Solarium, storage is identified by "controller number", "SCSI device
number", "drive number", and "slice number".
note... slices = partitions in the x86 world.

SO....
hda1 = c0t1dos0.

With very few exceptions, d will always = 0, the scsi id identified the drive.

AND...
hda2 = c0t1d0s2

AND..
hdb1 = c0t2d0s1
