Dale, would this mean that the le interface is also too stupid to provide info to "ndd"?

Because the le interface (the built-in interface on a SS5) is about as
dumb as you can get, ie, it runs at 10Mb/Half-duplex or not at all.

Naturally, you can have a hme interface in a SS5 only if you install a
add-on hme sbus card.
