[Sunhelp] Keeping the NIC configuration on a SPARC

Help...
I have configured the Network interface on my SPARC station using ifconfig.
However everytime I shutdown and startup again the configuration settings
are gone.  What can I do to keep the settings.  I have already filled my
/etc/hosts file with the proper info.
