Steve,

Thanks for your reply.  Basically everyone is saying I need to send a telnet
break.  I think the problem actually lies in my terminal server.  I know how
to send a telnet break, but everytime I do I get kicked out of my terminal
server session (connected to the sun) and am put back at the terminal server
prompt.  So I believe I need to play around with the way the terminal server
handles breaks.  We've never used terminal servers here so this is
completely new to me......when (if) I ever get this figured out I'll post a
summary.  Thanks again!

	If you're telnetted into a terminal server, all you have to do is
hit the
	ctrl-] and then do 'send brk' as a command at the little telnet
command
	prompt
