Mark,

I had a problem with my environments with netscape servers and Sun's
Java web server.

Look like root has the correct env set up. ( $env )

Don't forget to put that environment in your /etc/rc* scripts.

I learned this the hard way.  The machine rebooted and the servers
couldn't find /bin & /usr/bin.  When you start the server manager
manually (after you log in)  YOUR environment is passed onto the
server manager.  Then when you start the servers, the manager passes
the environment onto to the servers.
