Subject: [Sunhelp] c compiler in fresh Solaris 7 installation on SPARC
machine

I have installed Solaris 7 in E450 server. In order to load other utilities
I need c compiler. When I say cc at the command prompt, the system says,
/usr/ucb/cc: Language optional software package not installed.

I wonder how come solaris doesn't come with c compiler by default.
Is there any other third party compiler available which will server my
purpose?

Regards,
Raju
