[Sunhelp] Large disk in an Ultra5

I am trying to install a 30gig Western Digital ide drive in my Ultra5.
Solaris tells me it is an 8 gig disk though

This is what the format program tells me I have

format> current
Current Disk = c0t3d0
<WDC WD307AA cyl 16381 alt 2 hd 16 sec 63>
/pci at 1f,0/pci at 1,1/ide at 3/dad at 3,0

format> 


I thought maybe my really old firmware version would be the cause but I
upgraded to 

[mars]:/home/sysfcn$ prtconf -V
OBP 3.25.1 2000/01/14 13:40
[mars]:/home/sysfcn$ 

And yes I'm still running version 2.6 solaris

Any ideas as to how I can see my whole disk? Thanks.
