Edward,

The recommended way to do a change like this is to run sys-unconfig and
reboot once you get to the ok prompt.  You will then be prompted for all
pertinent info except your DNS servers (/etc/resolve.conf) and your default
router (/etc/defaultrouter)  Doing it by hand is a lot more of a pain than
you might think as there are more system files to change than it's worth for
a system with a single NIC.  For more info check out

I'm looking for what files need changing so I can move a Solaris 8 machine
from one network to another.

What files contain IP address, Netmask, Routing info, anything else???

This machine only has a single nic (hme0).
