Same here, if i have to do RAID 5 i would prefer hw RAID 5 with a D1000
or something.

Disksuite supports RAID 0(concat/stripe), RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5 and actually
RAID 1+0. Raid 1+0 is my favorite, creating mirrors and striping/concat them.

The bad thing about RAID 0+1 is that if you lost one disk in one of the mirror
you will lost the entire mirror, with 1+0 you will only lost that disk in the 
mirror, the rest of the mirror will still be working.
