[SunHELP] U5 graphics

I have a sparcstation U5/400 and am wondering this:
I am trying to use programs that need openGL to run.
At the sun website they claim that the video card
that is built onto this machine (PGX24) will not do
openGL, but that a PGX32 will. This is quite an
expensive video card, however ($300 from sunstore,
and $200 on the net). Does anyone know if there
is some 3rd party card that will work with this
machine (and Solaris 8) that I could use, or a
place where a PGX32 could be had for a little less?

I can not see paying $200 for an 8meg framebuffer.
I know that real video cards cost a lot (Oxygen or
Synergy for instance) but this PGX32 is based on
an ATI chipset that is really not expensive.

Thanks for the input.

PS: got the Adobe Acrobat working. Had to slap
myself for not wanting to let it install in the
default location. My paths for libraries were
not correct when I put it in some other location.

PSS: Anyone else saw the announcment from Sun about
using Easel in the future? I am using helix-gnome
now (just because I am used to it under linux),
but there is not an Easel package available yet
for Solaris to check out.

Thanks.
