[SunHELP] SCSI disks

Hi All.

I need to install a new disk in an Enterprise 450. I expected a Sun
brand disk to be expensive but I was still somewhat dismayed at the 730
(ukp)
pricetag for an 18GB disk. (UltraSCSI 10000 rpm).

Given that unbranded disks are a lot cheaper, are there good reasons to
purchase the SUN disks? I've read that SUN won't support machines with
non-sun disks, but I haven't found much that seemed concrete on this
issue. Are the plastic frames difficult to find?
