Hello all,

Gotta small problem and i don't know where/how to fix it. After installing Solaris 7 on an Intel box (a Dell) i get this message after the reboot:
     "Missing partition boot record."
The installation was a breeze with no problems reported.
There's one IDE disk with just a / and a swap partition. (Wanting it keep it simple. Windoze no longer exists.)
If i go through the floppy setup again and choose to boot from the hard disk, i finally do get into the system. Does the Solaris install put the boot block AFTER the / partition? Shouldn't it automagically have the boot block on the first block of the disk??
Hope you can help or tell me where to go looking.
