Check out www.bochs.com. They have a x86 Emulator, which you may download.
It's still Beta (Windows installation from FD) but I've DOS 6.22 on it and it works

fine. Used Solaris 2.6 and gcc 2.8 to compile it. I heard from a guy who installed
Windows 95 on an old HP with Bochs. Have fun.
