[Sunhelp] Mounting a dos partition

I had to reinstall solaris 7 on my PC a few days ago.
Anyway, before I reinstalled, I could mount my windows partition no
problem. But now I can't now that I have reinstalled. I've tried setting
it up in vfstab to mount when the system boots. I've tried manually doing
it in the console, it tells: "/dev/dsk/whatever is not a dos file system.
Solaris fdisk does see it as a dos partition on the other hand.
I
tried mounting
a dos floppy in CDE, and two different things happened at the same
time, 1st
a window opened up asking me if I was sure that I wanted to format the
floppy, and then another window came up listing the contents of the
floppy.

Since then, I have reinstalled several times hoping to remedy the problem,
no luck. ANyone know what in heck is going on? This has been driving me
NUTS.
