[Sunhelp] Power-On SelfTest FAILED ... Replace CPU Board

I am getting this message when replacing a IPC system board with a new, out
of the original box IPX system board. (Yes I know it's dated 1994). 

I was able to reprogram the NVRAM from my IPC to clear the IDPROM errors,
and now I have just this POST message.  

Is there a way around this. The system keeps rebooting.
