[Sunhelp] Solaris 2.4 network problem

I have just performed an clean installation of, believe it or not, Solaris
2.4 on a 4/330 Sparc machine. Things went fine but I cannot seem to get the
box to see the network. I have compared the /etc files with another box
(2.5.1) that is working on our network and everything seems fine. The error
I get is when route is run to add the gateway address, it returns network
unreachable. I know this can't be true because I can boot off the 2.4 CDROM
and run ifcongfig and route to get network access on this machine.

Any suggestions on where to look? I have checked ifconfig and the
hostname.le0 files. I have a /etc/defaultrouter file with the gateway
address in it. nswwitch.conf is setup for files only except for hosts
where I have added a dns entry also. I setup resolv.conf with the
nameservers. Tried different ethernet jacks and cables.

Can't think of what I am missing?!

Thanks for any tips!
