Go to the ok> prompt and type:
ok> watch-net-all
This will check all network interfaces and you'll get enough data to find 
out what's up.

I presume that your boot/install server is up and running ok.

You can check also if the boot/install server is on the same subnet with 
your client.

Check /etc/ethers for the MAC address/name of your client.
