For details on these products, just go to www.sun.com and look in the software 
area.  There are one-page marketing descriptions which point to postscript 
FAQs/white papers, etc.

But here is my product positioning:

Solstice AdminSuite is a Solaris server (not desktop) based bundle of various 
tools which a systems administrator requires to manage users, systems, and 
applications on a Solaris server (SPARC or Intel);

AutoClient is an application which runs on a Solaris desktop which places 
Solaris files in a virtual disk environment paging off a server so that the user 
need not manage his/her desktop environment;

DiskSuite is a server based application which manages disk and file management 
resources like striping/RAID configurations, etc.

Sun Software products (formerly SunSoft) tends to prefer selling these packages 
as an "overpack" to a Solaris server license with cryptic names like Solaris for 
Workgroups, Solaris for the Enterprise, tec.  You need to know that these 
bundles do not include the actual Solaris OS ! You still need to buy Solaris 
plus the appropriate "overpack".
