[SPARCbook] Solaris 8 ?

Haw-haw haw! That's a good one.

No, Solaris 8 is not supported/available for the SparcBook 3XX series
notebooks, AFAIK.

Also, think of the limitations: SS/5-110 class CPU, 64 Meg (Practical limit,
128 Meg *possible*), expensive HD space ($650 for a 12 Gig drive, $400 for a
6.4 Gig drive)... WOuld you really want to run Solaris 8 on that?

An SS/5-170 w/128 -> 256 Meg RAM, U/W SCSI, and a nice TGX framebuffer, and
then Solaris 8 starts to become fun, IMHO...
