[SPARCbook] P1000G docking/connections etc.

All,

I hope you don't mind a somewhat off-topic posting to this group, but I
know a number of list members recently bought the Pentiumized SPARCbook,
the P1000G.

How is everyone getting on with connections to the outside world? Has
anyone attempted to make a docking station? The pin-out is available
and the connector can be scrapped from Dell (others?) docking stations.
Anyone tried a PCMCIA floppy or CD?
