I simply called the 800 (or whatever)phone number and spoke with Diane. It
was a very nice transaction, she took my info, asked me how I wanted it
shipped, and never *once* tried to sell me a $20,000 laptop!

Did you call, or send emails to a non-persoanl account (i.e.
sales at tadpole.com)?

Call them, it was very pleasant...
