That makes for dramatic editorial, to be certain.  As a general rule,
though, they are very competitive.  Competitive does not mean selling
retail inventory for less than the cost of storing it, as in the case of
the units sold by Ross Pennington [bless his soul].  If the idea is that
Ross's  sale fixed the pricing index for the sparcbooks in general, then
you may be right.  What I believe happened is that a few of us were
fortunate to ante into a game which is otherwise exclusive.  The boxes
they are selling now are vastly superior to the 3GX, and not vastly more
costly.

Before slamming these guys too much, try to keep in mind that they are
very negotiable.  They start high and take what they can get.  Sounds
like good business to me.  I always negotiate with them, check their
offers and negotiate again.  There's a shred of reality....
